Hands-on Activity

The Kidz Club event at Robinsons Townville, BF Homes last July 13, 2019, made the children have a glorious time. It was a free event for the members who have a card which only cost 150 pesos, valid for one year worth of events plus other perks.

Value of Saving Demo
The event began with the host opening remarks welcoming everyone. Then, it went straight to an intensive savings lesson with a demonstration. The next activity was that of taking a tour of the two stores near the event area, which are Handyman and Daiso. The children passed every aisle of Handyman and Daiso, focusing on what was available, without having to shop. It added to their knowledge as they learned what the tools are, and other essentials that were at Handyman.

There was the chance to do a hands-on activity for a few kids to be the cashier at Daiso, and to be able to use the tool that'll recognize the bar code. Daiso also was a great experience for them, as instead of just looking at what they want, they gathered the awareness of what other things are in the store that can be bought to make their lives much better, such as organizers. During the feedback portion, one kid said that what was learned was taking a tour is nice. That statement in itself made it clear that there are benefits of being a Kidz Club member and joining events.

Then it was time a couple more activities. There was the "Make Your Own Bag" where the little ones painted a canvas bag. Then, children made marshmallows wrapped in crushed Graham crackers and covered with sprinkles. These were placed in a clear container with a label so they could market their finished product. After the products were completed, it was time to take a trip downstairs to the display area that was set up right in front of the door of Robinsons Supermarket. The kids stood behind the table and all their good got sold, as it was the parents who will buy the products for the kids to take home.

Family Bonding Moments

Learning the spirit of entrepreneurship to include leadership skills, team building, and interpersonal skills is what the kids gained. Those glorious moments are many, as they stood up on stage, and had their moment in the sun. Other glorious moments include being able to have more than one chance to stand out and be accomplished during the entire event.
Kidzpreneur Holding His Sales Income
The event ended before dark and the kids went home happy, with pockets full of earning. The Kidzpreneur: Mini Bosses for a Day event at Robinsons Townville BF Homes was jammed pack with well-thought-out activities that the Kidz Club member greatly benefited from. Thank you to the team of Robinsons Townville for making this event help children gain skills and learning and provide us with unforgettable moments.
