My daughter Maxi Quema, hails from Vigan, Ilocos Sur where our heritage home is. The Quema family is distinctively known for their white hair that occurs when they are young. Maxi has been covering up her white hair with hair dye since she was 14. Her hair has long strands of white hair, that interplay with her natural brownish-black hair, and faded hair dye.
Maxi is a fashion model contest winner. She has surfer hair girl hair, and it is subjected to more wear and tear than usual. Since she gave birth to baby blogger Renee, and during her pregnancy, she has not had her hair colored and has had only one hair dye in a couple of years. The demands of motherhood make her ignore her hair, giving it only the usual at-home shampoo and conditioning treatments.
