There are so many potato chips brands in the world yet we are constantly in search for the better one - and that is what Gold Stack Potato Chips is. It makes the diff. The way it coats the tongue with the delightful, comforting taste of honey brushed with butter, the crunch that make for that perfect munch, the size which is that of the popular international potato chip brands, and the thickness that makes it such a filling snack.

Gold Stack Potato Chips is meant to be shared as you can't finish a whole can in one sitting but no worries, as it can be kept after opening. New in the market, there are many places you can buy these honey butter potato chips and you can order online. To find out where to buy, you may visit the Gold Stack Potato Chips Facebook page.

When I attended Blogapalooza 2016, upon entering the venue, there was the Gold Stack Potato Chips booth. That was such a great thing for me, as I love snacking, and grabbed a handful of their chips immediately. Upon first taste, I was surprised, as it was unlike any other chip I have tasted before, as it had a unique kind of honey-butter goodness. It was quite a food experience that I would like to repeat again and again. I was given a can after playing the game, and I took it home to my daughter, Allison, and this is what she said about this new potato chip:

Gold Stack Potato Chips has all that you could want in a chip. The crunch that mixes with its melt in your mouth flavor will leaving you wanting more. It's impossible to only have one chip. The perfect sweetness of honey that combines with the savory taste of butter makes gold stack feel like you're eating gold.

Gold Stack Potato Chips is a Filipino product that met and surpassed my expectations. The packaging adheres to the proper labeling which should be done by the big commercial brands - as their can labeling has full disclosure, which leads the way in the snack industry.

Gold Stack Potato Chips: Winnie the Pooh would have adored it! And, I am sure, that this fast growing company will surely make their name in the industry. Try it today!

Pergola Mall BF: My Doggie and Me Event 2016

PAWesome fun and a galore of prizes is what the annual dog fashion show at Pergola Mall is all about - and the competition is tough this year as it is every year. The inner courtyard of this BF Homes mall was overflowing with pets, their owners, and dog lovers from all over the South, and the event was a grand success.

My Doggie and Me is a look-a-like contest. There is judging done, based not just on the outfits, but on the performance of the dog, and the wow factor - the impact on the audience.

Unlike other dog contests that require a joining fee, to join is free, and each entry has a doggie loot bag. With other dog contests, one might have to spend a lot on the costumes, yet with this, it is the stylish, themed look, and the bond between the owner and the dog that is judged.

This fun doggie event held on May 14, 2016, got the mall goers captivated by the adorable turnout of our canine friends. Many arrived early, as the seats were nearly all full when I arrived, and even after the event, the audience lingered.

I knew of this event as my pet poodle had joined a couple of years ago, and this year, I entered my Jack Russell- Shihtzu, who also has her grooming done at The Golden Three Pet Supplies and Grooming, a major sponsor of this event. The reason why I am loyal to this dog grooming place is because I do not have my dogs groomed at a veterinary clinic as they might catch a virus at those places, and my dogs just love their Golden 3 groomers, and that is why I park their toothbrushes there.

The event was enjoyable. There was a fashion show, and every entry had to walk the runway, carried, or leashed, and I had a proud pet owner moment as my dog was the only one that walked without a leash. There was a dog food eating contest, of which this small poodle in the stroller picture, ate half a plate, fast but was outdone by a bigger poodle, who wiped out all the dog food in a few minutes!

There was a talent show, and then the top 10 were chosen, yours truly included. The special awards were given out and the top 3 were announced, and their prizes were overwhelming.

My Doggie and Me provided the venue for family, friends, and their pets, to be part of a friendly competition and a summer weekend event that won't be forgotten.

Pergola Mall is located at Aguirre Ave, BF Homes, Parañaque. This two-storey mall has food establishments such as Yellow Cab which I frequent for their artisan pizza, Bon Chon, and Café France, and food kiosks like my favorite Fruitas, Foss Coffee, and the suman of Señor Juan. Other establishments include a Cebuanna, those 88 stores, parlors, spas, and Robinsons Supermarket.

Aqua Mineral Launches First Ever Salt Room in the Philippines

The first and the most trusted skin care brand when it comes to Dead Sea Mineral based skin care products brings us another innovative and unique concept this quarter. Aqua Mineral has brought us a wide array of cosmetics ranging from the basic skin care to anti aging products to men’s care sets and the most amazing and awesome products when it comes to effectiveness.

And when we thought that they could not surprise us any longer, they come up with the first salt room in the country! Salt room? –you say, yes SALT. This concept was conceived and inspired by the hundreds of years old Natural Salt Caves of Europe which have been a buzz since researches show that salt miners are rarely, if never sick. With this new found elixir of health the whole world clamored and salt rooms or halo-therapy centers have popped out and are enjoyed by many western countries, as Salt Therapy is recommended for various ailments and illnesses.

Aqua Mineral’s salt rooms are virtually all surface covered with three different kinds of salt – Sea Salt, Dead Sea Salt and Himalayan Salt. All of which have their own unique health benefits to boast and has so many write ups and review about them. Aqua Mineral embraces and celebrates the power of nature’s oldest crystal. The Salt rooms provide you a dry, sterile and pollutant-free environment. Salt therapy is safe non-invasive and is naturally anti-inflammatory and enriched with negative ions. The more negative ions you are exposed to, the better and more energized you feel! Salt therapy is recommended as a positive addition to regular medical care and is offered as an alternative and complimentary healing method, thus expanding treatment options.

With this launching of the salt room, the Philippines can now enjoy the privileges of having salt caves like Europe. Visit them at Robinson’s Malate, Gateway Mall and Century City Mall.

Stoops Bagnet Ilocos Restaurant Review

Stoops Bagnet Ilocos BF Homes Paranaque

Serving affordable Ilocano food, Stoops Bagnet Ilocos has the hefty servings at the right price.

As the widow of the late, great Rene Quema who hails from Vigan, Ilocos Sur, who was an excellent cook, and since I used to make bagnet to sell, plus the fact that I was resto consultant and blogger of other bagnet (a dish made from pork that was deep fried twice to attain a crispness and depth of flavor and texture incomparable to other similar pork dishes), I went to this restaurant to review it, and I am delighted to state that it met my expectations and even surpassed it with the two dishes I tried.

The bagnet can be described in one word - excellent. The pancit with bagnet was tasty, leveled up by the crushed bagnet toppings.

As our Bloggers Media South group arrived all ahead of time and we were joined by the franchise holder and the owner of Stoops Bagnet Ilocos, Jay, who is the son of the late presidential candidate for the 2016 elections, Ambassador Roy V. Seneres. Jay spoke of his love of Icocano food and how he had wanted to make it affordable, and how the first Stoops Bagnet Ilocos started at Vito Cruz. My family friend, Dom Ladrido, dropped by during our event, and he spoke to Jay about how he used to eat at that original branch when he was studying in La Salle.

If you are looking for great food at affordable prices, a place with cool aircon and wifi, fast service, and to have that full, satisfied feeling, when in BF Homes, it's a must to go to Stoops Bagnet Ilocos.

Open for franchise. For inquiries, send a message to the Stoops Bagnet Ilocos BF Homes Facebook page.

Incognito Music Bar Review

Cool jazz tunes is what you can expect at Incognito Music Bar

This resto-bar has superb food - and the music lovers bonding companionship that is the true treasure that you'll find at Incognito Music Bar, which is located at Anaheim Tower, The Levels, Pacific Rim Street Corner Commerce Avenue, Filinvest Corporate City,Alabang, Muntinlupa, just beside Petron gas station. This resto-bar is tucked below street level, is the only place in the south that I know where one can listen to jazz music. The place is cozy, and has the ambience for relaxing, fun-filled nights.

Though there were a lot of people when I went there, the music played was clear, the chatter and laughter did not interfere - I might be able to say, in a new way, that Incognito Music Bar is "acoustically sound". The music was at the right level, still allowing people to converse, and the music is streamed to their al fresco dining area.

Though I do love jazz, it is not easy to find a place that has the right kind of music. I do dislike mediocre, guitar-chord book bands - and I am so glad that I was able to hang out at Incognito Music Bar as I was able to feel the true vibes of a jamming session and the freedom of expression that only excellent musicians can do. More line mainline music, with fantastic harmony and talent, the skill was there, and what made it so much better was the speak-easy atmosphere of this resto-bar.

The beers were cold, the service unobtrusive, and the food was so leveled up that I just had to go for more of the French fries that was flavored with queso de bola, with a slightly spicy  dipping sauce. The pasta was recommended to me by a French friend and it was overloaded with goodness, so comforting and filling.

I took home the tuna, and here is what my daughter, Allison, who is a product reviewer for a US based site, said about this dish:
"As a seafood lover, when I heard my mom got tuna ready for my lunch at work tomorrow I was fully excited. Waiting anxiously until the clock hit 12 noon the next day, it was better than I expected. It was cooked perfectly, not dry and not soggy at all despite being out of the fridge for so long. It was also a large serving of fish, usually I would only eat half the amount, but despite my stomach being full I devoured all of it. The diced tomato side dish mixed well with the tuna. Highly recommend."

There are many music bars in the South but there is only one jazz place that I know off. The purity and clarity of the music, and the excellence of the musicians, the wonderful food, to add on to the chill people that go there, makes Incognito Music Bar, for me, the #1 Jazz music bar in the South.

Herbalife Survey Results: Sedentary Lifestyle Risks

Herbalife’s Nutrition At Work Survey Reveals
Majority of Philippines’ Workforce
Lead Largely Sedentary Lifestyles
Putting them at Risk of Obesity

Herbalife Asia-Pacific Wellness Tour seeks to address health issues associated with sedentary lifestyles, and deepen practical understanding on the benefits of a healthy, active life.

PHILIPPINES, April 25, 2016 – Herbalife, a global nutrition company, has released the findings of the new Nutrition At Work Survey, which revealed that the majority of Philippines’ workforce leads largely sedentary lifestyles, putting them at risk of obesity. The Survey1, which was designed to understand the lifestyle habits and attitudes of Asia Pacific’s modern workforce, was conducted in March with 5,500 full-time workers in 11 Asia-Pacific markets, including 500 workers from the Philippines.

According to the survey findings, almost nine out of 10 (85%)workers in the Philippines spend at least six hours a day sitting at their desk, with 52% of its workforce eating lunch at their work desk two to five times per week. The survey also revealed that majority of Philippines’ workforce (86%) exercise less than three times per week, with five out of 10 getting less than 30 minutes of physical activity a day at their workplace. This suggests a significantly worrying trend locally, on the back of rising obesity rates recorded in recent years.

Nevertheless, the risk of obesity could be averted if workers in the Philippines decide to take control over their own nutritional intake and exercise regimen. Close to eight out of 10 workers(75%) affirmed that they strive to live a healthy, active life, however, the majority of them noted that they find it difficult to stay active during workdays.

“With a majority of Philippines’ workforce leading largely sedentary lifestyles, our mission as a global nutrition company is to help people in the Philippines take practical steps towards leading healthy, active lives.By inculcating positive nutrition and active lifestyle habits to people in the Philippines,we hope that this will, over time, help reduce obesity risks and lead to positive improvements to the well-being of our people,”said Mr. Rosalio Valenzuela, General Manager of Herbalife Philippines.

Aimed at addressing health issues associated with sedentary lifestyles, and deepening practical understanding on the benefits of healthy, active lifestyles, Herbalife launched its fifth Asia Pacific Wellness Tour 2016, held in the months of April and May. The latest edition of the Wellness Tour builds upon the successes of the past four tours that welcomed more than 80,000 participants across the region, and features a host of medical symposiums, talks and workshops led by seven experts from Herbalife’s Nutrition Advisory Board (NAB), covering 26 cities across Australia, Cambodia, Hong Kong, India, Indonesia, Japan, Korea, Macau, New Zealand, Philippines, Singapore, Taiwan, Thailand and Vietnam. During the talk Dr. Small addressed health and nutrition related issues associated with sedentary lifestyles and share practical tips on how today’s workforce can live healthier lives by making simple changes to their daily lifestyles. Health and medical professionals, academics, as well as the general public have also engaged in lively dialogues with Dr. Smallat the event, and had the chance to network with like-minded professionals through the Herbalife Asia-Pacific Wellness Tour platform.

Rounding up the team of Herbalife NAB experts who have participated in the Asia-Pacific Wellness Tour are: • Dr. David Heber, chairman of the Herbalife Nutrition Institute and Nutrition Advisory Board. The NAB experts were also joined by Dr. Luigi Gratton, Herbalife’s vice president of nutrition education and development, who has written numerous articles on nutrition and obesity, and has appeared on television speaking on nutrition, anti-aging medicine, sports nutrition and other medical topics.

“With each new edition of the Wellness Tour, we are seeing an increasing number of people gain practical knowledge to leadbetter lives. We hope that that this year’s Tour will further empower people to take charge of their nutritional intake and exercise regimen, so that they can enjoy the full benefits of a healthy, active life,” Mr. Valenzuela concluded.
