Enjoy an Unlimited Menu Based On Cooking Style

Nearly anything you want to order can be done at GoGo Kitchen. From your classic favorite dishes to new creations, it is a must to give yourself a gastronomic indulgence with a food experience that caters to your palate. The choice of cooking style is yours and that of the ingredients that provide only the best at reasonable prices.

Paluto Experience

The word "paluto" means to ask a food item to be cooked. At GoGo Kitchen, the expertise is there and the ingredients are superb. You have the option to go to the live catch market to choose any of the fresh seafood or request the staff to do the purchasing. Then, from the menu, the cooking style can be chosen or you can ask the waiter for the recommendations on how it will be cooked.

With the choices from the procedure, be it fried, boiled, steamed, or served raw, there is the backbone of any superb dish which is the food preparation, aside from the quality of ingredients. Some fish has to be scaled, tuna and other sashimi dishes have to be sliced properly, shells have to be cleaned, and so much more. At GoGo Kitchen, you decide how you want it and sit back to dine. Your own private cooks will tackle the tasks for divine dishes to be served.

Crabs and Other Crustaceans

GoGo Kitchen has the culinary skills to provide beloved taste cravings with the power of texture. There is a dish that consists of crunchy crabs cut into portions that make it easy to consume that is covered with a special sauce. This specific dish is presented with an aligue (crab roe) and salted egg sauce. This sauce and other sauces of GoGo Kitchen add a distinct flavor depth.

Fresh, New Dishes

A classic favorite rice dish is presented as a noodle dish. This Yang Chow pancit has all the yummy elements that has changed the carb factor. It is a touch of culinary brilliance to make something so common into a totally new dish. And, the fried chicken is excellent. It has the crunchiness desired, perfectly cooked inside, and the softness and flavor.

For Family and Friends

Large, filling orders is what GoGo Kitchen is known for. Some orders at the pre-set menu choices can be too much for a single person. Chinese food is meant for sharing and taking home. Chinese food is the heart of many celebrations for birthdays and other milestones. Chinese food is the weekend meal that creates the bonding time. And, for those who are working, it is the way to ensure that you get the kind of meal that you deserve for all that hard work when you dine with your family and friends with the leisurely ambiance of GoGo Kitchen.

GoGo Kitchen is located at Seascape Village. That resto complex is near the bay, at the end of the area of Cultural Center. Seascape Village has a live fish market from where you can choose the seafood to be cooked at GoGo Kitchen.

Abbott Introduces PediaSure Plus #OhMyGrowth (OMG) Park To Provide Educational Experience On Children's Growth And Development

The PediaSure Plus #OhMyGrowth Park roadshow launches, running from November to December, starting with Festival Mall, Alabang

Parents always want the best for their children and ensuring their growth and development is no exception. For this reason, parents like to know if their children are growing at the right height and want to make sure that they are eating the best foods to stay active and healthy as they grow.
To help encourage parents to properly measure their children in order to recognize signs of nutritional inadequacy and keep their growth on track, Abbott is launching the PediaSure Plus #OhMyGrowth (OMG) Park across a number of locations in the Philippines. The park offers a fun and interactive experience for parents and children over three years old. Featuring checkpoints for height, weight, and immunity, the park is designed to educate parents on their children’s nutrition and growth development while letting the kids enjoy fun-filled activities. Currently in Festival Mall, Alabang from Nov. 17-18, 2018, the park is also scheduled to be at SM City Pampanga on Dec. 8-9 and SM Southmall, Las Piñas on Dec. 15-16.
Complete and balanced nutrition is important for a child’s growth
The first five years is a critical window in a child’s life for bone growth, with 60 percent of a child’s adult height attributed to growth at this stage. However, this period is also the time when a child is most likely to encounter barriers to growth such as poor nutrition, feeding difficulties or frequent illnesses. It is important to ensure that a child is getting a complete and balanced nutrition as they grow and that appropriate nutrition is introduced in time so that the child can stay on track in achieving his full growth potential.
An oral nutritional supplement like PediaSure Plus can help provide the proper nutrition a child needs by helping to fill nutritional gaps. PediaSure Plus is clinically proven, with 37 growth nutrients and triple protein complex, to support muscle and bone growth. A clinical study among Filipino children showed that drinking two servings of PediaSure Plus with three balanced meals everyday resulted in visible growth within eight weeks — and helped to improve appetite, weight, and height, reduced sick days and sustained proportional growth.

From L-R Abbott Nutrition Medical Director Dr. Jun Dimaano, PediaSure mommy Suzette Go, Melissa Ricks and Abbott Philippines Marketing Director Ajay Asrani
Dr. Jose Rodolfo Dimaano Jr. – medical director at Abbott explains: “To support their overall growth and development, children require complete and balanced nutrition. PediaSure Plus provides essential macronutrients and micronutrients needed by a child to stay healthy and well-nourished. Its consistent use helps children to meet their dietary requirements of key nutrients for growth. This is especially important because many Filipinos are deficient in nutrients such as calcium, iron, vitamin A and C – all needed to support the optimal growth of children.”
At the launch event, celebrity mom Melissa Ricks – mother to three-year-old Keira, spoke about the importance of ensuring optimum nutrition with PediaSure Plus: “It was hard to make sure Keira was getting all the nutrition she needs when she was growing up because of her food preferences. But she loves the taste of PediaSure Plus – especially the chocolate one! With her having that twice a day, I can rest assured that she’s getting the proper nutrition she needs for her health and growth development – boosting her height, weight, and immunity. It really helps me to make sure she is eating right, even on the busy days.”

Embracing Life and Finding Solutions

Good and sad things happen. How to solve it.

My mind goes blank from worrying. Last night, I called my two dogs, Nala and Luna, by the wrong names, calling them Fluffy and Bailey, my two dogs that had passed away. That must have been because my mind was focused on things that happened many years ago or Alzheimer's is starting. So, it's time for me to take co
conut oil and other brain vitamins and do brain exercises. Soduko is a mystery. Crossword puzzles aren't my thing. So, I will just play a match 3 game. That is a way of problem-solving, isn't it?

Silence is better
At times, I want to stop talking as anger management is that of shutting up when I have nothing nice to say and will ruin relationships. All people have their flaws, including me, we make mistakes but there are some errors that are life-threatening. There are preventable problems but sometimes, we just dive in, heedless of the warnings coz of the temptations such as a delicious slice of cake served in front of a person that has diabetes.

Temptations and complacency
Life happens in the complacency that all is okay when it is not truly okay, it is just comparing the dilemma to others who seem to be more miserable. We cannot carry each other's burdens but we can help others to carry theirs. Not all things should be on our shoulders, as independence is necessary.

Work as a solace
Work is a solace and making money is highly necessary in this world to survive and thrive. Work is a solace though chores are a bore. Things have to get done and mastering the art of procrastination isn't an option. Keeping in mind that there are aggressive and loud-mouthed people who berate daily about everything and are unproductive, keep to the tasks on hand and be productive.

Lack of productivity

That is a sign of illness when it comes to mental health. The lack of motivation might simply be a cover up for others to take over the responsibilities. It is a dilemma to find someone who wants to share their woes and regrets and still drag you down with the depths of their miserable lives. Liars are deceitful by peg and be aware that it can be in the guise of caring when all they care about is themselves - and money.

Keep away from bad people. Keep away from those who put you down. Keep away from those who bring you down. Keep away from those who destroy others to make themselves look better. Keep away from those who thrive and expand your complaints and make it a big deal.

Still in gratitude

I thank God for work and online contest and promos. I thank Him for the people that I have to care for and the ones who want me to care for them. I thank God for keeping the ones I love safe and healthy. Above all, I thank God that He is in control and maybe, that can help me stop worrying as He will provide the solutions.
I am grateful for the help. I am grateful for the responsibility. I am indeed grateful as unexpected things do happen.

At the end of the day, we only have ourselves to face, and the truth. We cannot edit yesterday. Move on and make the mind set that of being productive.

Dog Dies from Lepto: Find Out How It Happened

When it isn't a rat bite!

Most common illnesses and diseases that happen to humans can occur in our canine friends. Though we try to take care of our pets, there are times that they get adventurous. A yard or garden has many things that can make our dogs ill, such as frogs that they will try to chase and eat. Outside the home, there are streets and canals.

Leptospirosis

When a human wades in flood water that is infected with rat pee and does have an open would or other entry points of the bacteria-laden water, that might cause lepto. This bacterial infection is potentially fatal.

Dog dies from lepto

According to the vet, the dog was suffering from lepto that led to parvo that lead to the ultimate breakdown of the system. The gums were turning yellow. It is a difficult time for the owners as it was unexpected and something that happened that is rather bizarre and unbelievable so I will not mention the breed or the place of occurrence. I am writing this so people can be aware that it does happen and prevent such occurrences.

The dog was walking around outside. And, that was a usual thing, nothing out of routine. The dog drank from a puddle of water on the floor. It must have been dirty, bacterial laden - and that puddle of water lead to the dog getting leptospiros.

We care for our pets. Such matters are unexpected. Being aware that these things do happen, we have to be more vigilant.

A Junker's Point of View: Trash is Treasure

Living in a trash dump to a heaven-sent place

We all have our woes in life. It is difficult not to compare our problems, thinking we are better off. There is that thing called ranking. Yet, our problems are our problems and when we notice another way of looking at what other people feel about the concern, we may seem very ungrateful.

The comfort zone for various people is different. Some have lived a life of strife, not knowing anything better, and what we think is terrible is actually fabulous from them.

Real Story:

There is this 20-year-old who lived in a trash dump working as a junker. He has no real home nor gets to eat more than once a day. He is one of the poorest of the poor but working to make money by picking up trash like plastic bottles and paper to sell it.

Then, he was arrested along with others and detained. He is happy. Probably, one of the happiest people on earth to be sent to a detention cell. It might seem crazy to some people for anyone to be happy to be behind bars.

That young man is happy because he lives in a cleaner place. He has food to eat, a bathroom to use, and gets to watch TV. He was able to eat Jollibee food. He says, this detention cell is like a hotel for me and was thanking the arresting officers for giving him a better life.

Life is half full or half empty, depending on your point of view.

LCS - TierOne Consortium Inks Equity Deal with Broadband Satellite Operator

Announces Q3 2019 launch, offering entire Philippine archipelago access to affordable Internet

Chavit Singson-backed third telco aspirant LCS – TierOne Consortium has announced that it has entered into an agreement to buy equity into an operator of next-generation high throughput broadband satellites.

An agreement was signed abroad on Tuesday by Singson and TierOne Consortium chair Jonathon Bentley-Stevens.

The Consortium did not name the the operator, owing to the highly-sensitive nature of the on-going search for the New Major Player in the country’s telecommunications industry.

With the announced deal, TierOne is now assured that it will be able to provide the entire Philippine archipelago access to satellite-based broadband – at much lower costs.
TierOne additionally revealed that it now also has an earth station gateway – a facility which takes time to set-up – already in place in the country, thus enabling it to quickly use the broadband satellite services.

“We are committed to giving Filipinos the connectivity they need and demand, whether they are from Ilocos in the North, where I am from; to Davao in the South, where Jonathon has been living for decades now,” Singson said.

“Our investment in the satellite operator with a footprint capable of delivering broadband across the archipelago, reflects TierOne’s desire to offer the Highest Committed Level of Service, as mandated by Department of Information and Communications Technology (DICT) and the National Telecommunications Commission (NTC),” Bentley-Stevens explained.

“This is definitely a game-changer,” Singson declared.

Engr. Ed Millana, president of consortium partner Millawave Systems, which owns and operates a teleport, and delivers satellite communications services, described why the satellite is key for broadband delivery.

According to Millana, their soon-to-launch high-throughput broadband satellite will offer 1.3Gbps of bandwidth per transponder, capable of delivering up to 100Mbps to users.

Its broadband prices will be disruptively low, compared to legacy satellites – lower than the existing wireless broadband offers from the dominant telcos.

“Once launched, our high throughput broadband satellite will offer instant coverage; think of it as a ready network while we rollout the domestic undersea cable backbone, which we still will be largely reliant on – satellite still cannot compare to fiber in terms of capacity and latency, but it’s definitely the most expedient way to connect our entire archipelago” Engr. Millana shares.

Bandwidth from the broadband satellite will be accessed by the LCS – TierOne Consortium’s portable cell sites, called Telcos-In-A-Box – modified, quick-deployable, solar-powered cargo containers with satellite transceivers, WiFi and LTE Radio Access, and retail sales sections – for distribution to surrounding subscribers.

Bentley-Stevens further points out that these satellite-enabled Telcos-In-A-Box will be offered to Filipinos as franchises, democratizing the ownership and delivery of telecommunications services across the country.

“We are 7641 islands, we cannot be running a telco the way it’s been run in the past – we have to rely on new technology like broadband satellite for coverage and on our fellow Filipinos for distribution,” Singson concluded.

The LCS – TierOne Consortium has described itself as a telecommunications ecosystem, with members covering various facets of the business, including engineering, value-added services, and device manufacturing; as well as network services, small-cell antenna manufacture, and tower provision.

World-Class Natural Remedy for Filipina Beauty & Wellness Expert's Crowning Glory

Hair loss is a concern for both men and women. It can have a devastating effect on anyone who experiences it.
According to Web MD, the average adult head has about 100,000 to 150,000 strands of hair and loses up to 100 of them a day, which is normal. As people age, their rate of hair growth slows, and they can experience losing more than hundreds of strands which is quite alarming. So what can you do to prevent it?
For beauty and wellness expert, Cory Quirino, embracing wellness is the first step to help improve the hair’s condition and make people look younger.
“If you choose to have a wellness lifestyle, then expect wonderful changes such as radiant skin, energy, and a general sense of well-being,” she emphasizes. “In time, you will realize that you have successfully delayed the aging process.”
The beauty and wellness expert says that choosing wellness as a lifestyle includes eating nutritious food, exercising, getting a good sleep, drinking generous amounts of water, managing stress, getting enough sunshine, and above all, staying positive.
On top of a daily health regimen, a supplement is necessary to maintain a healthy hair and scalp. Many people opt to use chemical-based products. But for her, the use of natural products is a must and the best solution for hair loss.
“There are hair treatment products in the market today that claim to be effective but their ingredients could contain chemicals that may prove harmful with long-term use,” she enthuses. “Choose Natural. Say NO to harsh chemicals and let nature do the makeover,” she emphasizes.
Natural ingredients such as virgin coconut oil (VCO) and aloe vera are loaded with beneficial properties, which boost the health of the scalp and hair. These and much more natural herbs and essential oils can be found in NOVUHAIR, a topical scalp lotion with 19 natural ingredients that work in synergy to help prevent hair loss, which the beauty and wellness expert approves of.
“Even if I have been blessed with thick hair, I know that it has to be cared for,” she maintains. “I use NOVUHAIR topical scalp lotion once daily in the evening before bedtime. Next morning, I apply it on my scalp again, then a shampoo after 30 minutes. Those who wish to further thicken the hair, it is a must to also use the shampoo and conditioner daily.”
Eventually, she noticed impressive effects after using this breakthrough product: significant lessening of hair fall, abundant growth of tress, and the return of locks’ luster. Apart from being effective, it’s a very safe solution, too. A local clinical study has proven that NOVUHAIR has no adverse side effects with continuous use.
Moreover, NOVUHAIR is not just for those who experience hair loss. Younger people, especially the millennials, can use it for maintenance or prevention if hair loss runs in the family.
Cory recommends NOVUHAIR to everyone, especially to those who want to maintain their hair the best way they can. For her, this globally-competitive natural product answers the needs of a discriminating, health-conscious public.
Born on August 11, the granddaughter of the late Philippine President Elpidio Quirino is an author, and television and radio host. She has been a strong advocate for natural health, beauty, and wellness for more than two decades.
“Twenty years ago, it was as simple a goal as weight loss. But when I saw the dramatic effect it had on my vitality and complexion, I knew that this was the good path to take. For those who wish the same things I wanted then, this would be just as easy to embrace,” Cory recalls.
She wrote a series of best-seller books entitled “Forever Young”, which feature beauty and health tips as well as her own workout programs. Likewise, she also made a fitness video called “Cory Quirino’s Celebrity Workout for Beginners”.
For her, living in the 21st century has its challenges. She says: “The best way to live long and be well is to live a natural life.”

Truly, for a natural woman like Cory, her crowning glory deserves nothing but a world-class natural remedy that is NOVUHAIR.
NOVUHAIR is available at Mercury Drug and other leading drugstores nationwide. You may also have the product delivered right at your doorstep through Lazada at https://bit.ly/2Jc92Vk

GOGO Kitchen at Seascape Village Brings Back Memories of Seafood Market

Fresh, Fabulous Feast: Best Value for Your Money

If you remember Seafood Market, one of the original paluto restaurants in the Philippines, you surely will want to take a food trip to GOGO Kitchen at Seascape Village, which is located right beside Sofitel at the CCP complex.

If you haven't experienced that paluto resto which was around a couple of decades ago, then it might be time to try the newly-opened GOGO Kitchen, which is owned by Garrick Go, the son of Robero Go of Seafood Market.

My Food Trip Down Memory Lane

My daughter, Timi, and son, Raymund during the holiday season. Picture taken at Seafood Market, Makati Ave.
Many of our family celebrations were held at Seafood Market. To find the same cooking was a superb throwback. Those memories were kept alive by my palate that missed the crispiness of the deep-fried suahe, the Yang Chow fried rice with whole asado bits and the sweet, tender shrimp, among the other dishes.

I recalled how Thomas Cam, the Macau casino dealer sent here by Stanley Ho to teach the new dealers of the Floating Casino, got all excited when he found out that Seafood Market had blue crabs and king crabs, which was then at 1,000 pesos a kilo. My father, Engr. Alonso Dominguez, and him, and of course, me, went to Seafood Market that very same day.

New Dishes and Cooking Style

The Salted Egg Floss topping is unique to GOGO Kitchen. That is what you see on top of the shrimps and the crab dishes. It is a delight to consume, with no overwhelming tones, with the melt-in-the-mouth goodness due to the way it was prepared. Eaten alone, with rice, or as a complement to a dish, it is a standout original food creation.

HotPot

As the 3 cup chicken was presented, continuously boiling in its own oil, the richness of the marinade was integrated to soften the chicken.

Best Value

Even if you compare the prices with some outdoor palutos, you will discover that a top-notch, full-service resto does have affordable prices. And, the quality of cooking? Superb.

The average price of cooking charge

Taking a trip down memory lane with the kitchen prowess Garrick Go, son of Ramon Go of Seafood Market was more than just a treat. It is an extension of well-loved memories and I am glad to have the opportunity to make more unforgettable new ones at GOGO Kitchen.

A Musical Night at the Museum

Multi-awarded NAMCYA Winners top bill symphonic band concert

PASAY CITY, METRO MANILA (July 25, 2018)— Outstanding winners of the National Music Competitions for Young Artists will captivate our hearts with “Serenata sa Ayala” on August 29, 2018 6:30pm at the Ayala Museum. Bask in a night of classical, contemporary and Filipino music featuring the 2016 NAMCYA Youth Symphonic Band First prize winner Cardona Ocho Band conducted by 2008 NAMCYA Oboe Category First prize winner Franz Ramirez, 2011 and 2015 NAMCYA Piano Category First prize winner Gabriel Allan Paguirigan, and 5-time NAMCYA Flute Category First prize winner John Raymond Sarreal. The concert is part of NAMCYA’s 45th Anniversary celebration, presented in partnership with Ayala Museum.

Throughout the years, NAMCYA has been at the helm of discovering and nurturing our young Filipino musicians to become successful world-class artists, and this year in celebration of their 45th Anniversary, they will highlight four of their most successful alumni.
2012 ALIW Awards Best Instrumentalist Nominee, and Sarreal Music Academy founder, John Raymond Sarreal is one of the few NAMCYA multiple category winners, bagging the 1995, 1998, 2001, 2004 and 2008 Flute category first prize on every age group he competed in. He has been featured twice as a soloist of the Philippine Philharmonic Orchestra and has performed with the Metro Manila Concert Orchestra (as principal flutist from 2004-2012), the Manila Symphony Orchestra, the Manila Philharmonic Orchestra and the ABS-CBN Philharmonic Orchestra. Raymond has been a part of both the South East Asian Youth Orchestra and the Asian Youth Orchestra which performed around Asia and Australia.

Another NAMCYA history maker is Gabriel Allan Paguirigan bagging the 2011 and 2015 Top Prizes in the piano category. The young virtuoso is now a sought-after piano instructor, concert pianist and collaborator featured several times by the Philippine Philharmonic Orchestra. He was invited to perform in different venues around the Philippines, Asia, and Europe. Most recently, Gabby together with 2017 NAMCYA Flute Category 2nd Prize winner John Owen Castro, won the coveted Grand Prize at the Princess Galyani Vadhana International Chamber Music Competition in Thailand.
Cardona Ocho is a Brass Band started as a group of self-taught musicians from a fishing village in the eastern part of Rizal Province. The group was pioneered in the 1920’s by Jose Francisco, popularly known as Joseng Bombardino, aptly named for his mastery and musical eloquence with his “bombardino” {Euphonium}. Amando San Jose, also a self-taught musician, took over the reins and shaped the music of the band by both the discipline and the expressiveness of his character. In the 1980’s Cardona Ocho continued to grow musically capping the prestigious Serenata ’84 National Championship held at the Folk Arts Theater under the baton of Romeo San Jose, eldest son of Amando San Jose. In 2016, the group reigned supreme after winning the Grand Prize in the NAMCYA Youth Symphonic Band Competitions held at the Cultural Center of the Philippines (CCP). For the coming concert, the group will be conducted by Franz Miguel Ramirez; 2008 NAMCYA Oboe Category First prize winner, ABS-CBN Philharmonic orchestra Principal Oboist, and Great Grandson of Amando San Jose.

The concert will be at the Ayala Museum on August 29, 2018, 6:30 PM and tickets are available via Ticketworld and Ayala Museum. Ticket prices are Php 1000, Php 700, Php 560 (Ayala Museum Members), Php 500 (Senior Citizens), and Php 300 (Students).
