Comelec Biometrics: Delete the Right To Vote and Senior Citizen Not Priority

Women gained the right to vote. It is something that I have always taken for granted. I know for a fact that I can vote, and that is my constitutional right.

As there are over 3 million people still not registered with the Biometrics, the fact that I could be deleted is looming over my head like a sword. Let's see, how many times before did I have to update my voter's registration? Why did I end up in a different precinct from my parents and we live in the same house?

The Biometrics is a filing system. I do agree that the files have to be fixed. ID were not issued to many. Yet, the treat of being deleted as a voter because there is urgency for the printing of the ballots and other matters does not hold water for me.

It may have been signed into law yet I firmly believe that even new voters should have the right after the cut off which is on October 31. Maybe there is a way for them to register, right?

If millions are still not registered, no way can the mall Biometrics accommodate all.

Another right that has been waved aside is the senior citizen line priority. No more other comment has to be made. Give them the respect and the service that they deserve, as we do honor and prioritize our senior citizens in all facilities and establishments.

There is no solution but an extension yet my statement is, if the filing system is just to be fixed, should I lose my right to vote? If I had to register again, as this Biometrics should do, it is like becoming a new voter. What was the good of my registering when I was 18 when it can be deleted just like that?

I have the right to vote and it is in the constitution. There should be solutions made for the millions for them to do that Biometrics thing.

I dread the lines. Maybe I should have gone earlier? But wait, even on the last day, I should be accommodated, as a government office should extend the hours if ever there is one voter who will lose their right to vote because of the cut off, as long as they are in line before 5pm, they have the right.

In trying to fix files, we can deprive our countrymen of the basic right that we hold dear. Make the changes, as online line up is not honored, and there are seniors who are waiting in line, don't make them not get priority.

Lancris Residences: A Delightful Wine and Dine Night

Having had attended a lot of real estate events, my expectations for the Wine Tasting by Lancris Residences was high. I am glad to note that it was a perfect night and my expectations were surpassed.

About Lancris Residences

Nestled and quiet, Lancris Residences has a wide street going into their condominium area and alert and helpful security. These condominium buildings with units and facilities that are ideal for today's lifestyle, is located in Dominic Savio St. corner Japan St., Don Bosco, Paranaque. Easily accessible, this stylish community 1.3-hectare property is the project of Land Cris Somerset Dev’t Corp.
The Wine Tasting Event

Hosted by Mr. Massimo Cavallon of Il Biancorosso, the highlight of this event was the unveiling of the scale model of the project. The scale model provides a bird's eye view of this master-planned community that will have 4 towers, a clubhouse complex, and a commercial building.

It is pleasant to note that the wine to be tasted coincided with the food to be served. As the various bottles such as white, blush, and red wines were uncorked, the appetizers, salad, roast beef, and other dishes, and desserts were made available. The cheese table was so overwhelmingly delicious, that I could not manage to eat the pasta. The excellent chef went out of his way to prepare me a salad and during the buffet, sliced into bite-size pieces the wonderful roast beef and gave me a heaping side serving of roasted garlic.

The host, Massimo Cavallon, was highly detailed, and we were provided with unlimited wine and a guide to the various "scents" that can be detected. The event venue was cool, comfortable, spacious, and very pretty, as we were serenaded by the classical violin music of the expert Jem Garcia.

The atmosphere was that of relaxation. There was no hard-sell, and instead, all inquiries were ushered into the showroom area, which had a proper reception area and beautifully interior designed units to view. I would love to own a condominium at Lancris Residences as it is a wise investment, as it has the potential to gain real estate value fast, and I surely will be able to rent out the unit unless one of my daughters would like to live there.

Lancris Residences is the legacy project of Land Cris Somerset Development Corporation, sister company of the Duraville Realty and Dev’t. Corp and Durawood Construction and Lumber Supply, Inc. Located inside Better Living Subdivision in Paranaque City, Lancris Residences boasts of its suburban location, spacious units, and amenities designed for the family.

#Rivermaya : Norby and Ryan at #Blogapalooza

Having gone to Blogapalooza 2015 early with my youngest daughter, Almond, I was delighted to see that it was a fun while working event. The Business to Blogger 'B2B' wasn't boring and super formal at all. That was a relief as it was a Sunday out with my kid, and turned out to be pleasant time.

The businesses had booths and there was various activities which I will write about in a future post as I just have to write this onenow!

Rivermaya at Blogapalooza

When I looked at the photo booth of JB Music, I noticed a guy sitting on a stool, strumming his guitar quietly, his hair tossed to partially cover his face.  As I approached, the girl of that booth said, "Would you like to have your picture taken with Rivermaya?" I peered, and still could not see the guitar player's face. "Who is that?" I asked.

"That's Norby. And the other one is Ryan. The other members haven't arrived yet."

Oh, I was delighted to here that. Norby! The last time I watched him play was during an acoustic Wednesday night at Checkpoint Rock Bar in BF that my other daughter, Sarah, manages. I still clearly recall his haunting, lingering tune, and remembered that he had so kindly accommodated and sang a song from Sting which was "Message in a Bottle" upon my request.

I moved closer and said, "Norby?". He looked up after I disturbed his concentration, and said, "You're the mom of Sarah! Are you a blogger, too?"

"Yes!" Then we talked for a while as Almond, who works at Swivel Lifestyle Lounge in BF knew the son of Ryan. Then we had our picture taken.
Norby is humble, unassuming, and pleasant. And, Ryan, is also very pleasant and conversational, too, like most #Checkpoint rockers - it's life devoted to making music, enjoying the now, and not delving on issues, that's why I like the rock and surf lifestyle.

Moments

For me, the best part of the Blogapalooza event was meeting new people and seeing friends, and creating bonding moments that makes relationships.

"We are but ships that travel in the sea. Be it we travel the same direction for a while or cross each other's path, let our light shine to guide the way." - Cindy, 10.27.15

Asia CEO Awards Finalists 2015

At the Diplomatic Hall of the Grand Ballroom of the elegant Marriott Hotel located in the Resorts World Manila area, I had the honor to be one of the bloggers to cover the Asia CEO Awards announcement of the finalists for this year, 2015. This event that was held last Oct. 20 also gave recognition to the lifetime contributors. There will be ten awards with different categories for leadership teams and individuals in the Philippines and Asia region to be given out, and this event was presented by PLDT Alpha Enterprise

“It is considered a must-attend occasion for business leaders active in Southeast Asia because it is one of the largest events of its kind in the Asia Pacific region.”

Rebecca Bustamante, President and Chief Executive Officer of Asia CEO Awards

Arriving early, as I had noted that the Asia CEO Awards that is in the 4th year, has such prestigious leaders that will be attending, and I could not bear to miss a minute of this event, that is like the "Academy Awards" for the private and public sector. Notably, in the Asia CEO Awards of 2014, for the private sector, Henry Sy, Sr. was the "CEO Lifetime Contributor of the Year" and in the public sector, it was the Tourism Secretary, Ramon Jimenez, Jr. was chosen because of the "It's More Fun in the Philippines" promotional campaign.

Before the time for the event proper to start, the guests had all arrived. The presentation started and it was a lively one. Included in was was shared was outstanding advice, leadership tips, achievements, goals, and even our present concerns such as the traffic and solutions. The power could be felt throughout the room, as the respected leaders spoke.

  • Tata Consultancy Services Country Manager-Philippines Vikram Singh
  • The Manila Times COO Blanca Mercado
  • JLL National Director and Head of Project Leasing Sheila Lobien
  • SyncHRony Chairman and CEO Darcy Lalonde
  • Asia CEO Forum President Rebecca Bustamante

On Nov. 11, 2015 at the Grand ballroom of Marriott Hotel Manila, this year's CEO Awards winners will be announced. For a complete list of the finalists, and for more information, visit the Asia CEO Awards Facebook page and/or the Asia CEO website.

Author's Note: The Marriott Hotel is the perfect venue for this occasion as the service was impeccably unobtrusive, from the shuttle car from the hotel proper to the grand ballroom venue area. There was coffee and tea available before the awards proper. The buffet surpassed my expectations as all dishes and desserts were superb. The salad had a medley of finest seafood such as shrimps and shellfish. The buffet had a variety of viands and the beef lasagna was the best that I have every tried, even better that what was at the top of my list from a Las Vegas hotel. The dessert buffet was a chocolate lover's delight. The event was a success, well-planned and organized, as befitting such leaders. And, it must be extremely difficult to choose who will get the awards, as the finalists are the best among the best.

CDR-King’s Advocates Sustainable Living Thru California E-bike

Disruptors are welcome, from an old school perspective to the most advanced technological breakthroughs in power supply, whichever era you may be, CHANGE is inevitable.

Nikola Tesla during our primary days as student was sadly in obscurity till we reach high school. He challenged the existing and widely accepted manner of lighting though oil lamps to the macro voltage - electricity distribution system courtesy of his well-accepted Alternating Current most commonly known AC.

Nikola Tesla is not as famous as Tomas dison as taught during basic education, but his works and legacy blazes up to this day. Same aspiration as CDR-King, your one stop media provider intends to manifest, to bring products and cost efficient means of power/electricity supply to every household.

California E-bikes, a CDR-King subsidiary, open its doors in TONDO. The branch is powered by a hybrid electricity system that enables sustainable solar energy. As environmental friendly as it should be, it also aims to display similar concept Solar-kit for ones household in turn helps you save thousands of your hard earned money on monthly electric bill.

California E-bike started its operation in the Philippines early 2013 with E-Scooter and later on came out with other variants of e-bikes. Today California E-bike offers more than 30 variants in more than 40 branches.

With the steady growth of e-bike followers, California E-bike is gearing towards its mission to improve transportation in an eco-friendly way, one e-bike at a time and reaffirming its efforts towards Green Living to save our environment.

Herbalife Health Poll Results: 9 out of 10

The Herbalife Health Poll results showed that 9 in 10 Filipinos are 'highly concerned' about the potential diseases that may come about due from an unhealthy lifestyle.

In these poll results, the top three aging-related health concerns in the Philippines are for the heart, brain, and eyes.

The same Herbalife Health Poll results showed that the same number believes that simple lifestyle changes can help improve their overall well-being while 79% expressed a willingness to exercise more regularly and 72% stated that they would make better nutrition choices.

According to this Herbalife Health Poll, the top obstacles to achieving a healthy lifestyle:

- 75% responded that they lack of time for exercise
- 64% responded that they lack of time to make proper nutrition choices
 - 62% responded that it was due to the high cost of healthy food

Herbalife conducted the survey in September 2015 in the lead-up to its Asia-Pacific Wellness Tour. It surveyed 1,200 respondents across six countries, including the Philippines, on perceptions towards their health and current lifestyle. Respondents from Australia, Indonesia, Malaysia, South Korea, and Thailand were likewise included in the survey.

Herbalife Philippines

Survey Results Show Better Knowledge and Understanding

“We welcome the results of the survey. It gives an understanding of Filipinos becoming even more health conscious and self-aware that they need to make some lifestyle changes to improve their overall well-being. It also gives Herbalife an idea where we are needed, because as the survey revealed only four out of 10 would spend 10 to 30 minutes a day to make simple lifestyle changes,” said Rosalio Valenzuela, Herbalife Philippines General Manager.

“The findings from the Herbalife survey clearly show that the majority of people in Asia Pacific that we questioned believe in the value of good nutrition and exercise as contributing to their overall well-being. We aim to play a greater role in providing practical tips and information to people to help them understand that the journey to a healthier, more active lifestyle is not difficult to achieve. With as little as 10 minutes a day, consumers can take positive steps to improve their nutrition and be more active, which will improve their overall well-being,” said William M. Rahn, Senior Vice President and Managing Director, Herbalife Asia Pacific.

Herbalife Asia-Pacific Wellness Tour

Now on its fourth year, the Herbalife Asia-Pacific Wellness Tour aims to deepen people’s practical understanding of the various aspects of living a healthy active lifestyle. Its previous tours in the past 3 years saw close to 60,000 participants across the region. This year’s Wellness Tour will feature five members of the Herbalife Nutrition Advisory Board (NAB) visiting 14 markets and 21 cities across the Asia-Pacific in the month of October. They will share their expert views on how people can make use of the little time they have to make simple lifestyle changes that will enhance their well-being. Herbalife’s NAB experts will likewise share their views on a wide range of health-related topics, including weight management, brain health and aging; heart health; immunology; and skin care at the medical symposia being held in Australia, Cambodia, Hong Kong, India, Indonesia, Japan, Korea, Macau, Malaysia, Philippines, Singapore, Taiwan, Thailand, and Vietnam.

The Herbalife NAB experts participating in this year’s Wellness Tour include Dr. David Heber, who incidentally will be coming to Manila, is a leading expert in the field of nutrition and named as one of “The World’s Most Influential Scientific Minds” by Thomson Reuters in 2014 and considered one of “The Best Doctors in America”; Dr. Lou Ignarro, a Nobel laureate in Physiology or Medicine in 1998 for his discovery of nitric oxide’s health benefits; Dr. Gary Small, a specialist in brain health and aging who has authored over 500 scientific works and has received numerous awards and honors, including the “Senior Investigator Award” from the American Association for Geriatric Psychiatry; Dr. Marion Fltechner-Mors, a health nutrition specialist who is currently heading the nutrition and obesity research group at Ulm University, Germany; and Dr. Wang Jae Lee, a physician and academic specializing in immunology and a professor at Seoul National University College of Medicine. Dr. Heber, who is the founding Director of the UCLA Center for Human Nutrition at the University of California, Los Angeles, will be conducting a symposium for free to Filipino medical practitioners on October 23, 9am, at the Manila Hotel. The symposium will gather a group of 100 doctors, nurses, physical therapists and medical practitioners. The title of the symposium is “Obesity: More Than Just Being Overweight and Nutrition Forecast for 2020.” Seminars of Dr. Heber are recognized by US hospitals as part of Continuing Education Studies, which are often required of applicants. The following day, Oct. 24, Dr. Heber will be holding seminars for thousands of Herbalife Independent Members in the same hotel. This is the first time Dr. Heber, who is also the Chairman of the NAB and the Herbalife Nutrition Institute, to conduct a seminar in Manila since the company was founded in the Philippines 22 years ago.

Genius Touch Pen Review

Touch pens are needed for more than just the ease of using the keyboard of a touch phone or tablet.

I never thought I needed a touch pen as my fingers do easily get to type on the keyboard. My friends who said that their fingers are fat and keep on missing the right key did go out and buy cheap ones and I did the same. I placed that one aside as it was difficult to make my smartphone respond to the tap or the swipe. It felt heavy and ungainly, it was rather big, and it didn't look that great.

Not all touch pens are the same. The feel, weight, balance, and the way it looks is just like comparing a ballpont pen to a Cartier pen. Both can write, but then, there is a world of difference in the way it feels, how long it writes, and how it writes.

The one I got lately is the Genius Touch Pen 100s, made it easier to get a response and made it possible for me to be accurate, as now I had a precision tool for my devices. And, like my ballpen and Cartier pen comparison, those are disposable while the Genius Touch Pen has a replaceable stylus tip

Why Use A Touch Pen?

"Wow! A touch pen!", said my youngest daughter, Allison. "Now I can use a touch pen for my SnapChat!"

I frowned. "This costs, iha, is that all you will use it for?"

"Well, now I can make cleaner script on my SnapChat. I don't have a drawing app coz I didn't have a touch pen, and now I can download! That should be cheap only, Mom, as my friend bought hers for 200 bucks."

"This is a Genius, iha. It a bit more that double of that. It's for professional use."

"I am sure my graphic artist friends would love that."

What makes the Genius Touch Pen 100s the one I will use?

- The box was tightly sealed and it was packaged well.
- It has a manual inside that said it is compatible with all touch devices to include tablets, PCs, iPhones, iPads, and smartphone.
- Using it prevents scratching the screen of the device.
- It has a 7mm stylus tip design
- It has half a million times durability.

I looked for apps that I could use this for it as I don't draw, and discovered that there are a lot of writing apps for such touch pens on Google play that I can download for free. So I got "Write" which is a free notepad app. At first, you'll note, that I couldn't get the stroke. My tendency was to press the tip hard on the screen which isn't necessary. One has to stroke with fluid and even light pressure. As I practiced with this Genius Touch Pen, the 'handwriting' improved.
We invest in our cell phones and tablets. To use quality and durable touch pens is highly recommended in the same manner that one should use the original charger. I can use my Genius Touch Pen for nearly 500,000 times more, if I get a hold of it, as it is with my daughter who is using the touch pen for her SnapChat and her new drawing app.

Manila Under Fire Cooks

When my daughter said she was going to drop by the place that I worked at in Tagaytay, she first said there will be two of then. As that Saturday draw nearer, the number of visitors to arrive multiplied, just like Gremlins when they get wet.

Though the group was going to bring food, I had to make food too, and with these Kanin Lords arriving, it was time to make a lot of rice, for tomorrow never dies basta may extra rice. I was excited, of course, as sheer fun with lot of laughter was a sure thing. That Saturday, my daughter, Allison arrived, she is the one on the right of this pic below, more friends, and Gab Gamboa and Bigs Villaseñor, the frontman and guitarist of Manila Under Fire, the Pambangsa Muziklaban Grand Champion band of 2013, came over a while after.

It was chill time, no issues, enjoy a great break. Bigs was the official tester of every sofa in the place, crashing in each one. And, FYI, he doesn't snore.

Going heavy on the carb intake! Pasta, ulam with more rice please, and I made pita dough for grilling. And, Gabbie went to the grill and did the cooking! Hot off the grill, Bigs was the one that helped with plating to serve the group.

One pita bread hot of the grill is never enough, as I made the usual balsamic vinegar and oil and got creative making a pizza sauce dip that was a total hit.

This Manila Under Fire music video was complimented by a director friend who said that he liked the way they used the rails and the way the camera moved. The music? It rocks! And, the band members? Charming, polite, and awesomely fun to be with, oh, and did I mention good-looking?

And it is a fun experience, going to events and writing Press Releases that keeps me busy until the wee hours of the morning, and I have made new friends and get to see others more often. Blogging for the local market has made me make changes to the design of this blog, which is still in the making with minor tweaks still needed to be done and brought about the challenge to be more active in expanding my reach with social networking sites.

I have always geared most of what I write for an international audience with this blog and my other blogs, do sponsored posts for selected restaurants, other business, and musicians, which I aid in their online marketing, and for charity posts and complaint posts as do get urged by many of the contest joiners to "use my blade" with the powerful reach of my online network, and notably, Twitter does get results. As a #Promonatic, meaning a contest joiner, sadly, some promos and contests do have marketing fails and there have been solutions achieved, as I desire to bring about awareness to the company heads keeping in mind that people do make mistakes, that sometimes things happen, and that it is in the best interest of any company to resolve matters immediately as we are the consumers and contest joiners are vital to sending their message out. And, for the generous companies that do give out prizes properly, I would like to state, thank you so much and do share the joy and opportunity to win online. I do not blog about restaurant issues as I do believe that it is best to talk with the management for any complaints so that there can be changes made, instead of jeopardizing their business with a bad review.

Wielding Power Wisely

#ResponsibleMedia is one of the hashtags of Blogapalooza and with great power comes great responsibility. Note that it just takes one tweet to send a message out to the entire world. Thinking before I write and choosing to post only about the products that I believe in, and what is worth writing about does make the difference.

And, as one of the so-called "mentors" like when many of #Promonatics suddenly became writers to make a tremendous amount of money with Bubblews and now, seeing that my meeting with the marketing of a certain brand has brought about improvements to our sponsored PR posts, I would like state that there are more positive changes that need to be done in the blogging world.

Protecting the Bloggers

To post is work. We have internet to pay. We spend time posting. We have the reach. All-around, photographer, writer, social media marketer, us bloggers do need to get the rate we deserve. This I state because I have heard lousy feedback on the way certain bloggers have been treated upon being invited. Not enough products or a token to cover for the transportation and the effort made, and not even adequate food? That is blogger abuse.

Not all bloggers are equal. Though I like the fact that this is the case right now, that everyone gets the same kind of loot bag or token, marketing and brands should assess each blogger. It's not just the number of followers, views, but the results, the reach, and the way that the blog posts are written.

And, all bloggers that are requested to post should be compensated, with products or with a token amount. Our free ad space is reserved for businesses of family and friends, what we want to blog about such as a prize we won or a restaurant that we willingly wish to promote, and for charity. If a company starts up and needs bloggers, they ideally should factor the cost of online marketing as Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter, and other social networking sites are not enough - blogs do appear in search engine results and provide that vital backlink.

Leveling Up Blogging Skills

If we don't get paid enough, there is no motivation, and the results is repeated content as the 'favor' press release might be picked up by some bloggers - and then Google will shoot down the content. These press releases can be placed with a few edits, ensuring that the essentials are there, which are the who, what, when, where, and why, and the how, and then a call to action. Then, each post will be original and greatly aid in the ranking of the blog.

Longer content, more information, testimonials, and more can be done with each post. Blogging is just like talking, and when doing so, it should be done in an engaging and informative manner.

Blogging can be made better by using the free online tools available such as Ginger which is a grammar and spell-checker, Pixlr Expess for editing images and Canva for creating those awesome images for social media posts.

Blogging is a skill. It can be learned. Constant, never-ending improvement. C.A.N.I.

In less than a month after entering the local blogging groups, I have become a Blogapalooza blogger. I am thankful for the recognition and the invite. And, I urge each and every blogger to constantly improve, as that is what I do, learning all the time, sharing the knowledge, and bring about results by working on each post carefully, taking time to share it with the right hashtags, and aiding the companies that do make the time, budget, and effort to treat us bloggers fairly.

FREE 150 HelloPay Shopping Money Gone?

I had excitedly signed up for the HelloPay website. The incentive was that there would be free shopping money. The amount that was placed into my account was 150 pesos, enough to buy a pair of slippers or other things like lipstick.

I delayed my purchase having sent out my referral link. Each sign up would have gained me 250 pesos after they shop. I sent out a few and shared on my Facebook wall.

And, today, I tried to shop using the 150 credited to my account on HelloPay, and much to my surprise, I need to place in a credit card number. I checked their website, and saw that I do not have a Hello Pay credit card number, so I left it at that.

Then, I saw that many of my Facebook friends complaining of exactly the same issue.

Is this the end of the sign up 150 pesos credit? If it is so, why can't I use what I am supposed to get? My friends can't use their HelloPay credits, too!

Another marketing trick? I don't think so, but maybe the volume of sign ups and referrals are high, so they might have decide to close this promo - yet, don't I deserve what I got during the promo? And, my other friends do have more to shop with at Lazada, as HelloPay is exclusive for Lazada online shopping website.

As a Promonatic for many years, I go online to make extra for me and my family. I do not look at the 150 as small, as what I do is accumulate winnings. Since I started, I have won cellpones, tablets, supplements, make up, lotions, and so much more, and I have gotten free shopping money before.

Online, there is no DTI that closely guards such promos, deals, contests, and other marketing strategies. Does it have to get to that extent? The responsibility is to the consumers, and there can be action taken, now.

I would like to request that HelloPay address this issue and be fair, the ones who do have the credits, give it, because if you wanted to give it away, do so freely and announce when you stopped, and why, because we are your customers and we have our rights.

Dear Hello Pay,

Please allow us to pay with what you had paid us to join your website and for referrals.

Thank you for your immediate action,

#Promonatics

Tateh AquaBiz: New Free App Makes Planning and Running an Aquaculture Business More Profitable

Award-winning Santeh Feeds Corporation offers the free download of the Tateh Aquabiz app that makes owning an aquaculture business easier to plan and is a great aid in ensuring profitability.
The Aquaculture Business

The Philippines has the longest length of shores in the world when combines as this country is composed of over a thousand islands. This means that fishing is the way of life for many people. You'll see fish pens in many areas and there there are places that create pools for aquaculture for the various species that sell well, such as prawns.

From the stream that can be harnessed for water, to a lake, to the sea, there can be aquaculture and investing in this kind of business venture is a wise move. With proper computation, there will be less of a margin of error and this is one factor that greatly ensures profit.

The New App Launched

Santeh Feeds Corporation, the 2012 Asian Feed Miller Award winning company, that has been in the industry for over 2 decades, launched Tateh Aquabiz app at the Agrilink 2015 that was held at World Trade Center, Pasay City on Oct. 15 - 17. This manufacturer of Tateh Aquafeeds, is the pioneer in the production of marine fish feeds for grouper, pompano, seabass and snappers, crustaceans such as crab and freshwater shrimp and of fresh water fish feeds like koi, carp and catfish.
The different aspects of the aquaculture business can be tackled with the Tateh AquaBiz app: - The kind of species to raise - Where to get the stock - Find sources of quality fry, fingerlings and post larvae - Access to aquaculture equipment and inputs supplier - Current market information - Weather reports, tide levels and dam levels. And, Aquabiz App is more than that! It is the invaluable aid calculating the daily feed requirement for the species. With Aquabiz, overfeeding can be prevented as which will make the business run at a loss and pollute the fish farm water, and underfeeding also may be avoided that would jeopardize the full growth potential of the marine animals. This app has a feed conversion ratio (FCR) calculator that will show how much of the feed has actually been converted into fish.

Are you interested in aqua culture? Are you interested in a business venture that would make profit as the demand for certain marine animals is high and will continue to escalate in the near future? Do you have an existing aquaculture business? It will be much easier to tackle the aquaculture business with the Tateh Aquabiz app that can be downloaded for free from Google Play Store.

ATC Evening Primrose: For Women

Kapag dalaga ka na hangang hindi ka na dinadatnan,
mayroon makakatulong sa iyo.

When I was in high school, I became absent when I get my period because I would have stomach cramps. Those cramps were so bad, I would lie down in bed for a couple of days. I felt weak. Now that I am older, having had babies, the cramps were not the same anymore, but it still felt uncomfortable.

Another problem with the onset of age became having mood swings, especially during those days. I would feel depressed sometimes. I was easily irritable and I did have hot flashes. These hot flashes were felt at the nape of my neck, and yes, I found a solution.

Delighted at the name of the ATC Evening Primrose, which sounds so lovely, I googled it before I bought and discovered what this food supplement can do for me. It helps balance the hormones and in since at that time, I was about to enter the second half of my life, I needed to do something! I took ATC Evening Primrose daily.

After a couple of weeks, the hot flashes had stopped. Then when I got mine, I felt okay, and hey, the blood flow was strong, unlike before. This is a positive thing for me because I don't want yet to be menopausal, though that will come one day - I seek all possible measures to stay as youthful as possible, naturally.

When you have yours or are in the stage of being menopausal, what do you take?

Many don't take anything. I was like that, too until I discovered that ATC Evening Primrose may:

- Provide relief to menstrual problems such as abdominal bloating, breast tenderness, and fatigue.
- Balance the hormonal system as when the hormonal changes do happen when we get older.

Try it, take it for a week, and you'll feel the difference

ATC Evening Primrose, the supplement for women, is available at Mercury Drug and all leading drugstores nationwide for SRP P6.00 per soft gel capsule

ATC Ginkgo Biloba: Maalaala Mo Kaya?

My Dad, Engr. Alonso Dominguez, with my Mom, my daughters, and me.

Maalaala Mo Kaya?

Our life is made up of  memories. This is what we are made up of, a culmination of what we are.

When my father had a stroke, he became bedridden. The left part of his body was paralyzed. He recovered and was able to move around with a cane but his left hand was no longer functioning. When I asked him if he remembered that he got paralyzed, he couldn't remember. He could not remember a lot of things especially for the business, so he got back on track, exercising his mind, by reading the documents and conversing with us, asking a lot of questions.

Dad took Ginkgo Biloba. Though he was weak, his memory became sharp again after the stroke. He had a heart attack many years before the stroke and one thing about my father was he followed the doctor's orders, and it included for him to take Ginkgo Biloba.

The picture above was taken during my parent's wedding anniversary after my Dad's stroke.

What is important is the quality of life that we have

My Dad remembered things. He knew what he ate, he remembered names, making kwento about the politicians on TV, and memorized our cell numbers. If I ask him what was the number of his friend, he would say, search my phone and the number is the one that ends with 48 because there are 3 numbers of the friend that is saved. He remembers that you promised to call and what time you said you will be home. He remembered what time my daughters stepped out, where they said they were going, and what time they got home.

Like the LLS (last song syndrome) which is that you will be singing the last song that you heard for a while, my Dad had this same issue but we called it the Last Problem Syndrome. This means that if we state a problem to Dad, it stick in his mind, and he will keep on asking daily until the problem is resolved and tries to figure out a solution if it is not, and he usually solves the problem. We just didn't want to tell him as we didn't want him to worry.

I miss my Dad. And, lately, when I started to forget things and started calling my kids by roll call, which is stating all their names, I took ATC Ginkgo Biloba because it worked for him. And, since I take this regularly, it is working for me.

For brain enhancement, take ATC Ginkgo Biloba.

We can keep our minds sharp and protect our memories.

ATC Ginkgo Biloba is extracted from the plant. This food supplement has the addition of maiden tree extracts, to make it more effective as a solution to:

- memory loss (pagiging ulyanin)
- reduction of the loss of the cognitive functions (r
easoning, memory , attention, and language)
- reduction of the loss of the primary senses (sight, touch, hearing, smell, and taste)

- regulating the blood flow to the brain
- lowering the risk of stroke
- healing and repair of damaged cells due to age-related diseases

There are age-related concerns such as being "ulyanin", getting Alzhiemer's, and glaucoma. And, there are also mental health issues such as depression and mood disorders. ATC Ginkgo Biloba works as preventive alternative medicine and may be used as a natural cure, as this is the way this plant has been used as an herbal medicine by many Asian cultures for centuries.

Though one cannot expect great results overnight, there is tremendous improvement felt daily, and achieving a better quality of life does come about naturally with ATC food supplements.

For just SRP P6.00 per capsule, one retain the power of the mind with ATC Ginkgo Biloba.  This food supplement
is available at Mercury Drug and other leading drugstores nationwide.
