The primary concern about our nails is for good grooming. Putting on polish is a thing that adds to our being pretty. As frequently as possible, nails should be done by a professional in a place that ensures that the tools used is sterile. When the application steps are done properly, you get long-lasting nails. The ones who handle your nails are vital, as the one who did my nails have the lightest hands, even when she took out the slight growth of the nail in the nail bed. I could have fallen asleep without worrying that my cuticle would get hurt, and it is pampering care with the professional layering. 

I had my Gel Nails done. It is the second week and these are still great. I cook, clean, and do other chores, hard work and my nails stay intact. I do avoid using the tips for any activity to take care of these, such as using the metal scrubber for the pan, and instead use a long-handled scrubber. My Gel nails have withstood the test of time. As per this blog post, it is a bit over 2 weeks already, and my nails are still very nice. The only reason why I would have to have them done again soon is because of the growth.

My hair was tested to check if it could be bleached. That test for “doneness” - my hair failed on the top part because I had used a metallic hair dye that was in stock at home. That kind of dye will not allow any other hair dye to coat the hair. So the option became to have hidden hair, and it is trendy and delightful. My roots got retouched. Well, if you want to be able to change your hair color, keep away from hair dyes that have to be mixed with water.

I have hidden hair color. It peaks at the back, and that dye is red. It is so cute and makes the difference while I await my hair growth for me to be able to dye the top part of my hair. Hidden hair is trendy. 

Trained professionals. Some of the staff are Tesda certified while the others get their training from L’Oreal and the other brands that they use. Aside from that, they have in-house training. The staff is never "mataray" and are very kind. They make no side comments about problems that my nails and hair encountered upon entering. They are very polite and offered me complimentary iced tea. The staff loves their work and are passionate about what they do. Detailed, very "mabusisi", the assurance that you are in good and expert hands is there.

The Philippine Sustainability Movement has curated a month-long series of events organized by Pristine Solutions and Services Inc., and Peterson and Control Union with topics focusing on Global and Philippine sustainable supply chains highlighting sustainable seafood, organic and integrated farming, seaweed products, food waste reduction, plastic reducing solutions, sustainable tourism, energy and water management, GHG monitoring and carbon footprint among others.

At its first year, the Philippine Sustainability Month aims to convene multiple stakeholders to share best practices, strengthen sustainability commitments, building capacity, multi-sectoral partnership and collaboration, and celebration.

THE VISION OF THE PHILIPPINE SUSTAINABILITY MONTH 2019:

To establish an open and dynamic platform for involved stakeholders to discuss the status and challenges for more sustainable products, bringing inspiring solutions for change in supply chains towards sustainability.
