Aristocrat: Chicken with Java rice |
Know the culture
There are certain restaurants that have their specialties that make people patronize the place for many years. like the Aristocrat restaurant that has their famous chicken with Java rice. When you explore a place and its culture, the food that is "indigenous" to the area is a must-try. There is a reason why the main dishes, snacks, and beverages are sought-after, and that is because these are delicious and affordable.

Food cravings satisfied
For a restaurant to thrive and survive for decades means that this does have the "IT" to satisfy people's cravings. A hungry tummy that is filled can create a trigger memory. This trigger memory clicks in place, making the person recall the happy feeling of eating the item, and wanting to do so again, hence the craving that'll only be satisfied by that certain food. Exploring Manila include eating, and it's not just what we know, it can be a gastronomic experience of what is known to our palates and what we would like to eat. Here's a few of the food that we ate during the first Big Manila Food Tour.

Advantages of going on a food tour
The advantages of going on a Big Manila Food Tour are numerous. It started on time and ended on time. It was a comfortable trip and you will not get tired. It is way cheaper to go on this tour than going to each and every restaurant visited, as the travel expenses. Ordering expense is also reduced as sometimes, the servings are large and sharing makes it more practical. Included in this historic restaurant tour was a viewing of places, such as a park and a couple of churches.

An unforgettable experience
It is a historical tour that satisfies the palette and expands the mind. An unforgettable experience, indeed. This tour was one that was used as a field trip by students from an exclusive school in the South. These culinary students Instagram their way throughout the tour and ate with 'ohs' and 'ahs' of wonder. They took it all in, in notes that are in their photos and their discerning taste and studied the presentation, and all aspects from the service to the layout of the place. An experience for people of all ages
Revisited and visited
The Big Manila Food Tour provided me with trigger memories and those from the heart. The well-loved places were revisited, the favorites ordered, and there was the discovery of the ones that I have never tried before.
A foodie trip
Who wants to go on a food trip? The Big Manila Food Tour is for the entire family. As we went from resto to resto, I kept on thinking of how, if my Dad, Engr. Alonso L. Dominguez was alive, he would love this tour. Then, my expectations were met and surpass, and then that of my daughter's, Maxi Quema.

A comfortable trip
The tour was so comfortable than my grandchild, Renee Quema, who is a toddler and not yet two years old, was able to feast in every single restaurant. Her eyes lit up as this baby blogger is a gourmet, especially when she saw food items that were familiar to her and that which she has never tried. She ate with great gusto and then, found the woman that won her heart and tummy when at the last part of the trip, she was welcomed with halo-halo which is a Filipino snack made with crushed ice with a mixture of delicacies, fruits, milk, and sugar.
