The Philippine Sustainability Month helps makes changes that will last for a lifetime. Forward-thinking, as one of the catalysts for implementing the principles of sustainability. It is, in reality, a combined effort. The participants guard our resources by ensuring that they make the right choices and go a step further to provide the options.

The Philippine Sustainability Movement has curated a month-long series of events organized by Pristine Solutions and Services Inc., and Peterson and Control Union with topics focusing on Global and Philippine sustainable supply chains highlighting sustainable seafood, organic and integrated farming, seaweed products, food waste reduction, plastic reducing solutions, sustainable tourism, energy and water management, GHG monitoring and carbon footprint among others.

At its first year, the Philippine Sustainability Month aims to convene multiple stakeholders to share best practices, strengthen sustainability commitments, building capacity, multi-sectoral partnership and collaboration, and celebration.

THE VISION OF THE PHILIPPINE SUSTAINABILITY MONTH 2019:

To establish an open and dynamic platform for involved stakeholders to discuss the status and challenges for more sustainable products, bringing inspiring solutions for change in supply chains towards sustainability.

To establish an open and dynamic platform for involved stakeholders to discuss the status and challenges for more sustainable products, bringing inspiring solutions for change in supply chains, with focus on Sustainable Seafood, Seaweed Products, Plastic Reducing and Substituting Materials, Integrated and Organic Farming Systems, Food Waste Challenges, Sustainable Tourism Systems, Greenhouse Gas Emissions, Climate Change, and Water and Energy Management

• To increase awareness in public
• To create solutions for the consumers
• To transform businesses
• To impact livelihoods

These topics will be aligned to existing hotel CSR and sustainability policies and program, to selected Sustainable Development Goals of UNDP, to the need for certifications in the Philippines, and to impact fund approaches. Especially the need for certifications will be one of the highlighted topics through the partnership between Control Union Singapore and Pristine Solutions Philippines.

The First Philippine Sustainability Month 2019 is an event series that will consist of large ballroom events, an International Sustainability Summit, working groups on roadmaps, cooking sessions, competitions, program presentations, match-making events, press conferences, and media outreach, etc. A module of sustainability training workshops will be an important part to increase the impact as driver for change.

An exciting month highlighting pressing topics to protect our oceans, environment and natural resources as well as solutions that can be brought through sustainable supply chains is ahead of us in the Philippines.

To raise awareness, to educate, to showcase solutions, to find new ways in working groups. This initiative covers a broad range of topics in regards to sustainability, like sustainable seafood, organic and integrated farming, sustainable tourism standards, plastic reducing solutions, and more.

Dominguez was alive, he would love this tour. Then, my expectations were met and surpass, and then that of my daughter's, Maxi Quema.

The tour was so comfortable than my grandchild, Renee Quema, who is a toddler and not yet two years old, was able to feast in every single restaurant. Her eyes lit up as this baby blogger is a gourmet, especially when she saw food items that were familiar to her and that which she has never tried. She ate with great gusto and then, found the woman that won her heart and tummy when at the last part of the trip, she was welcomed with halo-halo which is a Filipino snack made with crushed ice with a mixture of delicacies, fruits, milk, and sugar. How I woke up like this 

Sharing my beauty secrets: I get compliments, stares, and stalkers, and it sometimes surprises me. I am not a parlor girl nor do I make drastic changes to my hair color, thous I love it when I see others who have such lovely colored hair. I got yelled at by a friend who insisted that I tell her why there is something new to my face, and what I did and where I went because I said, "I woke up like this."

Waking up and being able to step out without heavy makeup to go to events is a luxurious and time-saving thing. Being able to step out to go to the corner store without having to place anything but a bit of powder is a fabulous way to go out. So how to achieve it?

First, be healthy. I do take a lot of walks and exercise, maintaining my waistline from way back. I have a fighting weight that I adhere to, and yes, sometimes I eat a lot but mostly healthy. But, I am kind to myself and give allowance to add on a few more pounds, but still, adhere to the principles that I wrote about in my Refresh: The Liquid Diet Guide e-book that is available on all online bookstores such as Amazon https://www.amazon.com/ReFresh-Liquid-Cindy-P-Dominguez-ebook/dp/B00VGLVAVK

Daily maintenance routine. I have a whole load of skincare products, from deep cleansing, scrubs, oils, lotions, toners, and creams. It is a must to use these. Even bathing should be a cleaning and beauty routine.

Regular maintenance. There are procedures that I cannot do at home, even if I studied cosmetology. That is because I do not have the machines, especially the new ones, that'll work as it does bring about the goodness of skin renewal deep into the layers. We cannot delude ourselves that whatever we buy and use can replace that of a professional beauty clinic.

Being happy. There is nothing that makes one more beautiful that being happy with their lives. It comes with contentment and doing all possible for the family, and for ourselves. It is more than birthday celebrations, as each day, we can celebrate life.

Being happy means that we live life by being straight, saying what we mean, and cherising relationships. Being happy includes acceptance, and beyond the struggle, we find ways to make life more cheerful. Don't dwell. We cannot edit yesterday and must be kind to ourselves, embracing today.

Choosing the right medical professional. After all the horror stories of women who have their boobs fixed and it got messed up, I have the same problem. I went to have a procedure done, at the urging of a friend, who apparently was making a commission. I had injections and after a few years, these have deflated. That procedure is no longer available at that derma clinic, and I had spent good money, and for a long time, up to now, regret it, as the person who did it was not a certified medical professional.

Clinical procedures. There are so many beauty centers that one can get confused. It is best to deal with a certified professional in that field of medicine. I have had a procedure many years ago which was eye bag removal, and that fat got extracted, and it is still very nice up to now. I have had rejuvenation facials and still regularly get these, to tighten my jawline. I am careful about touching my nose, as the tip will get bulbous, as that happens with handling when getting a facial, and age. I also make sure not to wear heaving earring, as long earlobes will make one look old. I see a few things here and there that I would love to improve.

Oh, yes, I woke up like this yet that is not the reason why I still look good. It all starts with good skin. Then, the other things must follow, as we want to be healthy and glow. I have real stories. There was this guy who married this woman. After they got married, he sent her to have her nose fixed. He said, I love her, but I don't have to live with looking at her nose that way, and I want her to stop being upset about it. Another time, during a party, one guy said to the husband that he should have his wife's nose fixed as she complains about it. There are solutions, far more than just doing a thing for others - we must do what we want.

Being as beautiful as one can possibly is more than important, it is a way of life. We see pictures of a pretty young woman but when we look at their face, without makeup, it is full of acne scars. There are many things that we can do to achieve our ideal body and face, and cosmetic surgery is the best solution. I am excited to be more beautiful. It starts with health, and then, accepting the fact that we cannot reverse the signs of aging by using a so-called magical cream, and other procedures, as there are no regrets when you have your skincare routine and cosmetic surgery is done with certified professionals who do have a dedicated medical clinic, that'll make all the photoshop and editing of pictures no longer necessary and turn into a "no filter"
