Clean, neat, comfortable clothes can give you confidence with style, especially if these look like new.

Power Dressing for Movement

Power dressing for me as a blogger requires comfort. There are many times that we must wear business attire, so a jacket is a must-have, and it does complement the sun-ready outfit that I wear while on the road. Black is a color that I typically choose as it does look more formal and, yes, makes me look slimmer.


Psychological Power Dressing 

Wearing superhero clothing makes one get that psychological perk of being powerful like Superman and it is fun for me to wear these kinds of shirts for power dressing for events such as those of a fast food resto and for sports coverage.


Power Dressing for Casual Outings 

As a blogger, I have to power dress be it for a casual outing. Even when I go to the nearby mall or grocery, it is necessary as I do meet people and it opens doors. I also like to look good when I get to hang out to relax with a close friend for that much-needed break.

It only takes a few minutes to power dress. Spending the time to take care of ourselves does a lot good to make us feel better, look better while keeping in mind how to dress up so we may bring out our best assets to be body loving. 

The psychological impact behind power dressing does aid us to be more ready to face the challenges of the world and deal with the stressors of daily life. It also makes us more attractive and pleasing to look at, so it is a good thing to dress up to please ourselves and others, too.

And, it also can give us women that edge when as we can have "power" over men who typically find a woman attractive when they wear red, a sexy outfit, or have the girl next door look- if that is our goal, or if we need wear a power dress outfit for business for that no-nonsense deal but still can look stunningly attractive.

Power dressing includes what the underwear is also, though these are to remain unseen, as I do wear shapewear. It does aid in making one look shapelier and provides support for as we get older, an instant tuck and lift might be necessary. What we wear on our head, like a hat or accessories may also make the diff. Our shoes are vital for power dressing, as heels give us height. But when we have to be on the go, we require good, comfortable, and clean shoes that make a statement.

Repeating the same clothes, sometimes even for years, may make these suffer from the literal wear and tear we subject it to including when it is not properly washed. New Laundry Experts! Ariel Men Push for Gender Equality with #JuanWash


Because stain removal knows no gender

MANILA, Philippines — September 29, 2017 — In Filipino households, doing the laundry is traditionally seen as a woman’s sole responsibility. Thanks to the shift in people’s mindsets, aided by Ariel’s progressive #JuanWash campaign, that backwards thinking will soon be a thing of the past.
Recognizing that chores can be done by anyone, Ariel rolled out the #JuanWash campaign which is targeted towards men. Its goal is straightforward and goes right into the heart of the matter –to get men to do their share of laundry duties, one wash at a time. For Ariel men, this goes beyond simply doing the laundry, as it also shows their support to their wives, and moulds their children into understanding the equal role of men and women in doing the household chores. 



As the first detergent to invite men to do their part of the housework, Ariel assembled several celebrity #JuanWash ambassadors. Among them is professional basketball player JC Intal,supported by his wife Bianca Gonzalez-Intal, as well as actor John Prats, supported by his wife Isabel Oli-Prats. 

“The new Ariel Man is more confident and more responsible when it comes to raising his family”, explains JC Intal. More and more Juan Washers all over the country are rising up to do their share of the laundry duties, and it’s a call to arms that expresses what it means to be the modern man of the house. “Ang Ariel Man ay makabago at progresibo. Ang totoong macho ay tumutulong sa mga gawaing bahay to serve as good male role models for the kids,” adds John Prats.

Launched online last September 1, 2017, the #JuanWash campaign not only celebrated those men who have done their part of laundry duties, but also dedicated Fridays as #JuanWash days. This aims to inspire and encourage more men to do their share of the load.

“The Philippine Commission on Women (PCW), the lead agency that champions gender equality and women's empowerment, welcomes this initiative of Ariel Philippines in breaking the gender stereotype that housework is only women's work,” shares PCW Executive Director Emmeline L. Verzosa. She adds, “We are glad that the private sector and advertising agencies have now joined the campaign in promoting the value of shared household and parenting responsibilities among female and male family members. Through such male role models, companies are able to educate the public about more positive masculinities. Gender equality should begin at home.”

Ariel’s #JuanWash campaign comes at a crucial time for Filipino families, whose lifestyles continue to evolve, especially with the rise in dual-income homes and an increasingly progressive cultural landscape that puts equal value in the time of women and men. According to the Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA), formerly known as the National Statistical Coordination Board (NSCB), Filipino men are getting more involved in household work, with men allotting an average of 5 hours working on chores in the year 2000 compared to the average of 1.87 hours in 1979. TASCO 1st TIRE ART CONTEST 2017



TASCO, Inc. is committed to live its corporate value of Stewardship. For the last 5 years, it has demonstrated corporate social responsibility by granting financial support towards free therapy services to more than 50 special needs children of indigent families in Metro Manila thru its affiliate, Quality Life Discoveries, Inc. Other twenty (20) entries were given consolation prizes of Php5, 000 each. Through the Tire Art Contest, we hope to encourage everyone to think of productive ways to re-use and upcycle scraped tires. TASCO, Inc., as an advocate of waste management, waste reduction and proper waste disposal, in the future, aims to provide support to the “Adopt an Estero” program of the DENR by distributing rubber garbage bins in areas that are close to esteros, which are foul-smelling and pose health hazards. Time and time again I tell myself to exert more effort in getting website views, and even with my SEO training, it is not the priority. But things do have to be done to have a nice blog and gaining more views is one of them. Hopefully, bloglovin' can work in my favors.

PH keen to expand EU food exports in Anuga with GSP+ edge


DTI-CITEM targets $62M export sales in world’s biggest food fair

Coconut oil is one of the products featured in the FoodPHILIPPINES pavilion in Anuga on October 7-11. It is the third most shipped product to EU countries in 2016, with total export sales of $551.39 million
The export promotion arm of the Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) is set to further expand the trade relationship between the Philippines and the European Union (EU) as it leads a delegation of food exporters in Anuga on October 7-11 at the Koelnmesse in Cologne, Germany.
The Center for International Trade and Expositions and Missions (CITEM) is set to feature the country’s export-competitive products from 19 food companies under the FoodPHILIPPINES industry brand.
CT_lowres“The Philippines’ participation in Anuga is part of DTI’s overarching efforts to step up the export drive in EU member states and take advantage of the Philippines’ zero tariff privileges under the EU’s current Generalized System of Preferences Plus or GSP+ scheme,” said CITEM Executive Director Clayton Tugonon.
Known as the world’s largest and most important food and beverage fair, Anuga presents a combination of 10 specialized trade shows under one roof, showcasing the diverse product selection in the global food industry. This year, around 160,000 visitors are expected to join the five-day event to check out the latest and most innovative products from around 7,200 global exhibitors.
CITEM ED Clayton TugononIn 2015, 35 Philippine companies netted $67.7 million export sales in Anuga. For 2017, DTI-CITEM is targeting $62 million.
“Despite coming with a smaller delegation, we are not pulling any stops with our high export target. We have carefully selected 19 food companies that are primed for the European market, each capable of showcasing the best of what the Philippines have to offer,” said Tugonon.
Aside from food tasting activities, the Philippine delegation will also participate in business-matching activities during the event.
The EU is ranked as the Philippines’ 4th largest trading partner, 3rd largest import source, and 4th largest export market.
In 2016, the Philippines’ external trade in goods with the EU states totaled to $13.713 billion or 9.7 percent share of the country’s total trade, based on data of Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA). Exports to the EU reached $6.970 billion or 12.1 percent of the total export receipts, while imports were valued at $6.743 billion or 8 percent share to total import, resulting to a balance of trade in goods (BOT-G) surplus of $227.74 million.
Among the EU-member countries, Germany is the Philippines’ top trading partner with a total trade of $4.357 billion or 31.8 percent of EU’s total trade. Revenue from export to Germany amounted to $2.329 billion while payments for imports were worth $2.028 billion or a trade surplus of $301.32 million
Within the EU, ninety percent of EU-Philippine trade is concentrated among eight EU member-states—Germany, France, the Netherlands, the United Kingdom, Italy, Spain, Belgium, and Denmark.
As of now, the Philippines is enjoying a special trade arrangement and incentives with European countries as one of the 30 countries listed under EU’s Generalized Scheme of Preferences (GSP). Under the EU GSP, developing countries can export goods with reduced tariffs entering the EU to stimulate economic growth and job creation in their economies. The Philippines avail itself of the zero preferential duties on 6,274 products going to EU states.
