The Frap Bar: Extends Earth Hour

It's the little things you can do that makes the difference.

Now that's summer's here, my Mamaita, likes to keep cool.

"Do you see that little light there on the TV when it's off?" Mamaita said. "That means that thing is consuming electricity. Sure, it might be only a few centavos - but how many TVs do you have in your home?"

How many times has the wisdom of our elders fallen on deaf ears? We might have heard it too often like close the light, use a timer for the aircon, defrost the fridge, open the windows as you need fresh air.

It's March 31 and Earth Hour is tonight.

Shutting off lights for 60 minutes does signify something, doesn't it?

Especially since the Philippines has been on TOP of this awareness campaign, I would have to agree totally with an very interesting blog post about extending Earth Hour. Click this link to read the Pevonia Earth Hour blog post.

Extending Earth Hour is an Eco-Friendly Solution the Helps You Save Money!
Saving the planet helps you save your pocket. Though there are some more expensive environmental solutions, in the long run, it is worth it to Go Green. Here's one company that is doing what they can do to make the difference.

The Frap Bar is the newest craze when it comes to cold beverages.

Unlike Starbuck, Figaro, and most of the coffee shops, this is a Philippine franchising company. This translate to less expensive franchising and less expensive frappes!

The Frap Bar is spouting up in many places all over the Philippines and are present in many school events like the recent UP Fair.
Here's their Metrowalk kiosk. For those who don't know, Metrowalk is located at Ortigas Avenue. It's an al fresco place and there is usually free live bands playing in the center of this mall's letter U.

Have a frap, go to the Spa, shop, dance, play poker at the Metro Card Club, and have unlimited drinks and unlimited fun Fluids Metrowalk.

Do have a Filipino dinner before the drinking session at one of the best Philippine restaurants, i-Bagnet.

What did The Frap Bar do?

They changed their containers from plastic to paper. Might seem like a small difference to some but that is a major change when the main thing they serve are beverages.

Do a small thing to make the difference like The Frap Bar.
