Geeking Tom Wars T-Shirt Design Contest: "The Force Awakens"

Calling all Graphic Artists that love Star Wars! There is a t-shirt design contest that you and your friends can join - and you can make money when you win!  As we all eagerly await to watch "Star Wars: Episode VII - The Force Awakens", Geeking Tom has come out with this contest for all the Jedi's out there and wookies too.

As Geeking Tom t-shirts takes pride on being original, this company came up with the concept to hold a t-shirt designing contest called, "Geeking Tom Shirt Wars". This contest is a tribute to the upcoming release of Star Wars: Episode VII - The Force Awakens. 

The winner of the contest will receive the following prizes: 

- A year supply of Geeking Tom shirts
- The winning design will be printed and sold by Geeking Tom
- The winner's name will be included in the t-shirt's tag 
- The winner will receive a PhP 40 royalty (commission) per shirt sold

To join, the artist must submit his/her original design via e-mail to geekingtomshirts@gmail.com with the subject, "Geeking Tom Shirt Wars". Each entry must include the participants full name, e-mail address, contact number, and the title of their entry. Multiple entries are allowed, but must be submitted separately.

My two younger brothers are the first generation Star Wars fans. They had all the toys, such as an At-at. I used to open the fridge and see Hans Solo frozen in a special ice cube that they made. That time, there was no DVDs yes but they had a cassette tape and the entire movie got memorized. Yes, and though I say my brothers, I am a Star Wars fans and support Geeking Tom in this awesome contest as me and my girls do love cool shirts.

When I went to the UDD concert at Checkpoint, the way I got in was to attach helicopter blades to the car, land on the MSM helipad, and open Checkpoint from the top. LOL! No, seriously, where there's a will, there's water. Ha-ha.

Peeps: Ruweda has been preparing intensely for this event and it's going to rock. There is a big screen at Checkpoint and the sound system is the best for this music video for that Hilong-hilo Ruweda experience.

 You can expect to see your South friends like Edu Montilla of Project Bear, Gabbie Gamboa of Manila Under Fire and Biggs (did i spell that right?) who was the delegated sofa tester when they visited me in Tagaytay, and North peeps to flock over and some who might arise from Middle Earth. Tambayan 101: A Class You'll Love

Break too long? Need a break? Unlike the usual hangouts that are super public, you have a choice of where to go to - sleep? 

Well, you can if you want to but there's much more to do, coz it's Tambayan 101, the place to go to when you want to hang out, study, chill, watch a movie, or just laze around. Instead of going to a friend's place or staying at home, it's good to go to this place that has cool aircon and wifi, alone or with company, it's up to you. And, FYI, that photo with the bunk bed above is in the main lounge that has a few more bunk beds you can stay on, the food counter, sofas, and tables. 

Tambayan 101 has food and drinks at affordable prices. Their best seller is the nachos, and then they have burgers, sandwiches, and other stuff you'll love. There's cold coffee and hot coffee, other beverages - and beer! 

What you can expect in this place is for it to be chill. And, if you get one of the 18 rooms, you can have a party or hang out to watch a movie which they have on hand, and the room rental is at 90 pesos per head, minimum of 2 peeps per room, and as many as you want for these sized rooms and much bigger rooms that this one featured. We Only Have Today

As storms do always end, when the waters are turbulent, then we must make sure that our boat doesn't sink. We weather the storm and go towards calm waters, where we again get ready for the next storm.


Longer than a Moment. There seems not to be enough time to be with someone or some people that you feel joy with. We wish we had more time for all but that isn't possible. So we build our world around the people that we are near, hoping that we might find the same kind of friendship, companionship, affection, love, and all that jazz, yet can it really happen? The thing to do is to set the tune, make the music, create the harmony. For longer than a moment can we touch someone's life and make a difference.


Think about it and Forget. Though this seems radically difficult, we must not be harsh on ourselves. We ideally should dwell on things, moving forward to make the changes that we want in our lives. Though memories flood and these are what make us what we are today, it many things = think about it and forget. Forget, as we cannot control a lot of things. Forget if it troubles us too much. Don't dwell, don't make it thrive but instead, focus on having what we want, what is good, and what is important.

Cherish. In our lives, there are moments that we cherish. There are people that mean more to us than the rest of the world. There are some that make a difference by just being there, like the air that we breath.
